Remember the huge double hung windows in the old part of the building. It was one of those beautiful spring afternoons with the windows open wide in German class with Fraulein Evers.* Before class started I had my head out the window when I was suddenly lifted off the floor and suspended out that second floor window. "Joel, you get in here right now! You will stay after class!" I sputtered, "I was just standing there and suddenly I am suspended out the window. And I am the only one who has to stay after class?"
*I believe Miss Evers was a teacher on Summer Science that summer.
